Release Note
1. On Basic Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-
a. Enquiry ~ > Class Information ~ > Class Teacher & Student, To remove user login information and version number from Class Listing Print.
2. On Library Mgmt Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-
a. Bibliographic ~ > Bibliographic Record ~> Delete, system have build in control to disallow student librarian to update book’s status.
b. Bibliographic ~> Bibliography Details Export, add [Book Status] filtering criteria on Bibliographic Detail Export Process.
c. Bibliographic ~> Bibliographic Record ~> Quick Update, introduce new quick update option to provide multiple books update on book’s status, collection type and location for ease of location/collection type transfer.
d. Library Mgmt ~ > Library Audit Holding, new enhancement to provide library audit by with location group or without location group. Audit session with location group is linked to define their school library by sections or sub libraries eg staff library, student library, red spot, etc. With such grouping, the library audit can be carried out by selected section or sub library. The audit report process generated is provide MSExcel export option.
e. Enquiry ~ > Circulation Enquiry, build in optional class search criteria on circulation enquiry process.
3. E-Attendance ~ > Late/Absent Reason ~ > Staff Late/Absent Reason Approval, to add filtering criteria by staff clock-in session for staff late/absent reason approval listing.
4. Co-Curriculum Assessment ~ > Enquiry ~ > Activity Calendar, To build in record sorting option on Activity Calendar Enquiry page.

Release Note
1. On Basic Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-
a) Curriculum mgmt ~ > School Calender, system is enhance to incorporate validation check to disallow special holiday record deletion if there is associated replacement class with the record and on the same time system also added new validation check to disallow multiple days assignment for special holiday record. This is to facilitate replacement class.
b) Student Mgmt ~ > Personal Record ~ > Create, we have allow student profile creation for form/Level teacher. Form/Level teacher shall limited to create own class/level student profile for current academic year only. Then on the student creation page, then system is segregate religion drop-down option list by SMS Basic and SMM-Web Module on Student Personal record page.
c) Staff Mgmt ~ > Level Head Teacher Assignment, these option is used to allow level head teacher de-assignment even after revoking application role.
2. On Co-cu Assessment module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-
a) Form & Report Module ~ > Activity Involvement Summary Reports, these reports was enhance to add new print search criteria by activity session on Student Activity Involvement Summary Report Printing and build in CSV export feature for user to export in CSV format.
b) Enquiry ~ > Student Activity Attendance ~ > Attendance History, this is to revamp student co-curriculum activity attendance history enquiry page with attendance mode breakdown (i.e. by Present, Absent without reason, Absent with reason etc).
3. On SMM Web module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-
a) Student Mgmt ~ > Personal Record ~ > Create, this is to allow student profile creation for form/Level teacher. Form/Level teacher shall limited to create own class/level student profile for current academic year only.
b) Printing & Enquiry ~ > Information ~ > Basic Info by Class, the system is enhance to always print religion as ‘Bukan Islam’ instead of blank value for SMS religion code other than ‘Islam’ on Individual Information Report.
4. On Library Mgmt Module ~ > Bibliography ~ > Create, we’d enhanced the system to disable bibliography record beam me option for school without internet connection. The setup option can be found at basic module general setting – Enable beam me option.

How to Use MARC Fields for Bibliographic Call No.’s Dewey Classification?
With the recent enhancement release on MARC21 feature, user is now able to input Dewey Decimal Classification number by enabling MARC field of 082a. Besides, we’d also enhanced the auto generation of the call number convention rule by adding new section and location and MARC fields are also included as call number generation criteria.
Please follow the steps as illustrated below on how to use MARC field such as Dewey Classification number as one of the auto call no. convention.
Step 1: MARC Field setting
User shall be able to input MARC field such as Dewey Decimal Classification number by enabling MARC field.To perform MARC field setting, please click on Library Mgmt ~> Parameter ~> MARC Field Setup.
Based on MARC field standard, you can add Dewey Classification number field to bibliographic by clicking “0” at level one, then click “82” and “a”. To view detail on how to add MARC field to your bibliographic, please refer to MARC Field Setup.
Step 2: Call No. Convention setting at Library General Setting
In order to include created MARC field in bibliographic call no., you will need to set up auto call no. convention at Library Mgmt ~> General Setting.
You can select the MARC field from drop down list at call no. convention setting to include MARC field in your auto call no. generation. Please take note that the call no. convention are set separately for different material types.
Step3 : Input MARC field at Bibliography creation
During creating Bibliography through Bibliographic ~> Bibliographic Record ~> Create, simply input the MARC field, which will be used as part of the call no. based on your call no. convention setting at step 2.
Please take note that call no. shall not be more than 20 character, any words over the limit will be truncated.
Do I need to ensure all students return the library books before processing student rollover process?
For those students who are not leaving or transferred, it is not required to return library books before processing student rollover process. This is because after student rollover to new academic year, the librarians are still able to perform book return transaction for previous year’s students.
As for those students who are confirmed leaving or transferred, it is not required to return library books if the School allows the school leavers to use school library. On the other hand, if the school leavers are no longer allowed to use the school library, SMS user has to ensure that all library books borrowed by the students must be returned. To return library books, please go to Circulation ~> Circulation. Thereafter, the library membership accounts have to be terminated. This activity is best to be carried out before processing student rollover process. To terminate a membership for a student, please go to Membership Mgmt ~> Close Membership ~> Student.
