How to install ????(?) Chinese font type into PCs and ready to use for printing school leaving cert & testimonial

For some computers which doesn’t recognize Chinese character font type name ????? at their current running window platform, please follow steps as below:-

(i) Please download Chinese font type name ????? from website http://www.sj00.com/soft/19160.htm provided

(ii) System prompt message as following:-, Save “JDK.rar” zip font package on your pc desktop

(iii) Once file have successfully downloaded, Extract the files and copy paste the file into C:\WINDOWS\Fonts:

    Release Note

    1. On Basic Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-

    a. Enquiry ~ > Class Information ~ > Class Teacher & Student, To remove user login information and version number from Class Listing Print.

    2. On Library Mgmt Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-

    a. Bibliographic ~ >  Bibliographic Record ~> Delete, system have build in control to disallow student librarian to update book’s status.
    b. Bibliographic ~> Bibliography Details Export, add [Book Status] filtering criteria on Bibliographic Detail Export Process.
    c. Bibliographic ~> Bibliographic Record ~> Quick Update, introduce new quick update option to provide multiple books update on book’s status, collection type and location for ease of location/collection type transfer.
    d. Library Mgmt ~ > Library Audit Holding,  new enhancement to provide library audit by with location group or without location group. Audit session with location group is linked to define their school library by sections or sub libraries eg staff library, student library, red spot, etc. With such grouping, the library audit can be carried out by selected section or sub library. The audit report process generated is provide MSExcel export option.
    e. Enquiry ~ > Circulation Enquiry, build in optional class search criteria on circulation enquiry process.

    3. E-Attendance ~ > Late/Absent Reason ~ > Staff Late/Absent Reason Approval, to add filtering criteria by staff clock-in session for staff late/absent reason approval listing.

    4. Co-Curriculum Assessment ~ > Enquiry ~ >  Activity Calendar, To build in record sorting option on Activity Calendar Enquiry page.

    SMS Release Version 4.1 Build 276 – 21st December 2009

    Release Note
    1. On Basic Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-
    a. Student Mgmt ~ > Testimonial/Leaving Cert ~ > Preview Template Printing, enhanced to print additional info of Class Monitor 2 & additional position info on Student Testimonial Format 1 and 5. We are also allowed the system to print student co-curriculum activity position held from multiple academic years into one reporting row on student Testimonila format 5.
    b. Student Mgmt ~ > Attendance Recording ~ > Absent Reason Update, Enhance to allow unlimited student attendance absent reason input character length on Student attendance absent reason input page.
    c. Curriculum Mgmt ~ >  School Calender, To build in validation control to disallow academic year date range change if there are school calendar records found beyond the inputted date range.
    d. Curriculum Mgmt ~ > Opening Placement, To build in validation control to disallow opening placement setting change if rollover has been performed for the level.
    e. Enquiry ~ > Class Information ~ > Class Teacher & Student, we’d provided an option to allowed user to add [Print/Hide Gender] option on Class Information Printing Process and all class information in tabulated format from Class Information Printing Process.
    2. On Co-curriculum Assessment Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-
    a. Assessment ~ > Mark Input, We’d allowed the level teacher access control on student co-curriculum assessment mark input process.
    b. Assessment ~ > Assessment Grading, Requested to apply rounding rule on CGPA and GPA computation during assessment grading processing.
    3. Basic ~ > ID Card ~ Student/Staff, system is enhanced to allow printing of Student Card and Staff Card by entire class. System is remove 4 cards per printing control in order to minimize wastage, please ensure the paper is properly aligned at printer. We are still recommended school to print 4 cards per page for Quality Full Color Printing.
    4. Student Discipline ~ > Parameter ~ > General Setting, New setting to allow/disallow discipline unit teacher/Counselor to access student profile other than own class student.
    5. SMM-Web Data Import/Export from SMM, we’d incorporate SMM Version 4.0 for user for do student data import and export process.

    2. On Co-curriculum Assessment Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-

    a. Form & Report ~ > Yearly Assessment/Assessment Summary Reports, system is enhance to add extra filtering criteria by [Co-Curriculum Type] and [Co-Curriculum Description] on Yearly Assessment Report and Assessment Summary Report Printing filter by activity.
    b. Form & Report ~ > Assessment Summary Report, System is amend label [Level Teacher] on Assessment Summary Report (Format 2) to [Form Teacher].

    3. E – Report Card ~ > Grading System ~ > Grading System Table Setup, we’d customized the exam grading system to followed LPM (Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia) new requirement to allow input of SGP with value = 10.

    4. On Sport Event Module ~ > Participant Detail ~ > Transfer SAR To Final Automatic -> For Inter-School -> Individual Event, Enhance to allow final event re-processing and all the entered final result shall be initialized after confirmation received from posting.

    SMS Release Version 4.1 Build 272 – 26th June 2009

    Release Note

    1. On Basic Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-

    a) Curriculum mgmt ~ > School Calender, system is enhance to incorporate validation check to disallow special holiday record deletion if there is associated replacement class with the record and on the same time system also added new validation check to disallow multiple days assignment for special holiday record.  This is to facilitate replacement class.
    b) Student Mgmt ~ > Personal Record ~ > Create, we have allow student profile creation for form/Level teacher.  Form/Level teacher shall limited to create own class/level student profile for current academic year only. Then on the student creation page, then system is segregate religion drop-down option list by SMS Basic and SMM-Web Module on Student Personal record page.
    c) Staff Mgmt ~ > Level Head Teacher Assignment, these option is used to allow level head teacher de-assignment even after revoking application role.

    2. On Co-cu Assessment module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

    a) Form & Report Module ~ > Activity Involvement Summary Reports, these reports was enhance to add new print search criteria by activity session on Student Activity Involvement Summary Report Printing and build in CSV export feature for user to export in CSV format.
    b) Enquiry ~ > Student Activity Attendance ~ > Attendance History, this is to revamp student co-curriculum activity attendance history enquiry page with attendance mode breakdown (i.e. by Present, Absent without reason, Absent with reason etc).

    3. On SMM Web module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

    a) Student Mgmt ~ > Personal Record ~ > Create, this is to allow student profile creation for form/Level teacher. Form/Level teacher shall limited to create own class/level student profile for current academic year only.
    b) Printing & Enquiry ~ > Information ~ > Basic Info by Class, the system is enhance to always print religion as ‘Bukan Islam’ instead of blank value for SMS religion code other than ‘Islam’ on Individual Information Report.

    4. On Library Mgmt Module ~ > Bibliography ~ > Create, we’d enhanced the system to disable bibliography record beam me option for school without internet connection. The setup option can be found at basic module general setting – Enable beam me option.

    Can Level Teacher Head/Class Teacher create/update the Guardian Profile?

    SMS is now enhanced to allow Level Teacher Head and Class Teacher to create and update the Guardian Profile for the assigned level or class ONLY.  As one Guardian Profile can be assigned to multiple students which may result in record duplication, we’d built in control whereby Level Teacher Head and Class teacher can only access to Student Personal Profile option to check the availability of guardian record first before new profile creation. User will thereafter access to Guardian Profile –> Edit option to update other guardian information.

    Followings are the illustrated steps on how level teacher head and class teacher create / update the Guardian Profile

    Step 1: Create Guardian profile via Student Personal profile Creation / Maintenance Option

    To do it, please click on link Student Mgmt ~ > Student Personal Profile ~ > Create, User is required to enter guardian’s  IC number and check for the existence of guardian record instantly. If the record is already exist, the guardian’s name will be extracted for relationship linking. On the other hand, if the record is not exist, user is required to enter guardian’s name and relationship linking. User is able to update a maximum of 3 guardian records per student.

    Step 2: Update Guardian Profile via Guardian Profile –> Edit Opton

    After the student profile is updated successfully, Level Teacher Head and Class Teacher shall proceed to update other guardian data . To do it, please click on the link Student Mgmt ~ > Guardian Info ~ > Guardian Profile ~ > Edit for details. Please take note that the guardian records as listed for updating is only those  guardian records related to the assigned level / class only.
