1. On SMS Basic Module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. WorkPlace ~ > Staff Late, System is enhanced by add in Staff late count and links to access later comer enquiry on principal desktop.

b. Student mgmt ~ > Leaving Cert/testimonial ~ > Preview Template & Printing, introduce new format of school leaving cert & testimonial which special customized for SMJK Heng Ee. Pls refer to FAQ links as below for installation and set up guide for the specific font type to be use for the customized certificate.

2. On SMS Co-curriculum Assessment Module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. Forms & Report ~ > co-curriculum Assessment Cert ~ > Print ~ > Format 2, to change the co-cu marks fields to include bonus marks i.e marks from special award and other position held.

b. Assessment ~ > Mark input ~ > Achievement/Participate & Involvement ~ > By Student/Group, to standardize competition name to max input of 100 characters when input via participate/involvement/achievement marks input by student/Group option.

c. Enquiry ~ > Student Activity Grade Analysis ~ > Top Student Activities, to add in [Session] as a new search criteria for Student Activity Grade Analysis – Top Student enquiry.

Release Note

1. On SMS Basic Module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. School Mgmt ~ > School Profile ~ > Edit, we’d provide latest bank list which can be found in Malaysia at school profile database.

b. Workplace ~ > Student Absent List, system is enhance to allow the listing for column sort by Class and Name in Alpha ordering.

c. Enquiry ~ > Student information, we’d enforce checking on exam result to be publish for viewing on the Report Card Tab with reference to the eReport Card’s examination schedule’s result release date for the particular examination. Meaning system should not display the examination link on the profile if the examination release date is still a future date.

d. Student Mgmt ~ > Personal Record ~ > Create / edit, system to add in Radio button option for user to propagate the Student Address maintenance to all the guardian’s profile that are linked to the student.

e. Student Mgmt ~ > Leaving Certificate and Testimoninal ~ > Preview Template & Printing, all the testimonial & leaving cert is enhanced to add in notes on “maximum number of characters allow for input” on Remarks and Comment fields at the input screen before printing for user info.

f. Student Mgmt ~ > Testimonial & Leaving Certificate ~ > Printing Setup, Print labeling and parameter content should be following the first language as set in the printing setup option.

g. Student Mgmt ~ > Leaving Cert/Testimonial ~ > Preview Template & Printing ~ > School Leaving Cert Format 5 – to allow for the printing date to be maintainable and save for re-print.

h. Enquiry ~ > Data export – Export profile to text format, on our export features, system had already cater for Previous Class Info as a selection field based on the academic year for export in TEXT file format.

i. Student Mgmt ~ > Change Class ~ > Multiple/Single Change class option, System to auto de-enroll student’s subject from the current class and auto enroll to all the subjects for the new class as maintained in the class timetable.

2. On SMS E – Report Card Module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. Exam Mgmt ~ > Mark Input Upload, this is a new option to allow for Exam marks upload using the template downloaded from the system and take note that Examination Marks input template in CVS file format shall limit the subject column downloaded to be base on

i) Subject teacher only download those subject he/she teaches in the class

ii) Class/Form Teacher/level teacher and exam committee can download for all the subjects taken by student in the class

b. Enquiry ~ > Level/Class Ranking Monitoring, New feature on Principal and school admin desktop for monitoring on Class/level ranking status.Features also available at Principal & Admin desktop.

3. On Co – curriculum Assessment we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. Form & Report ~ > Co-curriculum certificate ~ > format 2, to enable maintenance of marks field on the web-print screen, if the marks computed is 0 due to transfer-in student without historic co-curriculum records maintain in SMS.

b. Activity Records ~ > Student ~ > by Class/Activity ~ > Delete, to enhancement Student activity deletion option (both by student or by class), system to alert user if there is attendance taken period from the start of the student activity to end the student activity with Javascript pop-up screen for use to acknowledge and confirm to delete the activity together with the student’s attendance record for the particular activities. At the same time, request to default student activity start and end date by calendar start and end date.

c. Enquiry ~ > Student Activity Attendance ~ > Attendance Statistic, to cater for inconsistency display of student activity attendance reported in Yearly Assessment Report with Activity Attendance Statistic enquiry screen.

d. Assessment ~ > Mark Input ~ > Participation/Involvement and Achievement ~ > by Group, to extent input screen to allow for 15 records per page instead of currently 5 records per page

e. Enquiry ~ > Student without activity listing, to open up co-curriculum type as optional field to enable listing of student without joining any activity.

f. Enquiry ~ > Student Activity Attendance ~ > Student Activity Attendance Listing, new option Co-curriculum Student Activity Attendance – Enquiry with data export features for student attendance.

4. On Library Mgmt Module we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. Circulation ~ > Circulation ~ > Return, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

i)  To fixed the cursor to barcode field after scanning Membership ID

ii)  To auto set the cursor to the next barcode after scanning

b. Bibliography ~ > Bibliography detail Export, to add in “Author” field as a export criteria.

c. Library Mgmt ~ > General Setting, to build in option for use to include or exclude weekend charging on overdue fine.

a. Student Management ~ > Attendance Recording ~ > Daily Attendance, the system is enhance to list student in last class attended only in Daily Attendance Recording page for student attending multiple classes in same day.

b. SMS Workplace, System is enhanced to allow task assignment to all staffs with valid system login ID during task/memo creation. Currently system only allowed staff whom have Basic teacher role for assigning task.

c. Student Mgmt ~ > Testimonial & Leaving Cert ~ > Preview and Template Printing, Customized student leaving certificate format 9 & student testimonial certificate format 7 for SMJK Shing Chung.

2. On E-Attendance Module, we’d enhance the features as following:-

a. Enquiry ~ > Student Attendance ~ > Student Attendance Listing, this option is enhanced to list student on Student Attendance Listing Page according to class history by attendance date. That’s mean student in last class attended only in Student Attendance Listing page for student attending multiple classes in same day.

b. Attendance Processing ~ > Class Attendance Update, features enhanced to return error message upon data creation failure from Student Class Attendance Update Process.

3. Co-Curriculum Assessment – Enquiry ~ > Student Without Activity Listing, Add leaving student indicator icon on Student without activity listing.

a. Timetable Mgmt ~ > Import & Export 3rd party timetable ~ > ASC ~ > Import Timetable, system have been enhance to cater for aSc timetable import from aSc Timetable Version 2009.

b. School Mgmt ~ > News & Announcement ~ > Create,  Incorporate Web 2.0 RSS XML Feed option for latest school news and announcement subscription. with this features builds, system allow schools to embed news or announcement feed from iSchool SMS into ASP Portal.  As such, it will illuminate double posting on school news or announcement.

2. On Co – Curriculum Assessment module, we’d enhance the features as following:-

a. Enquiry ~ > Student without activity listing, New inquiry option for student list who did not participate in any co-curriculum activities. This enquiry is to display the student that not join any of  “Uniform Group”, “Club and Society”, “Sport and Games” and “Additional Duties”.

b. Enquiry ~ > Staff Activities, To add new filtering criteria of [Activity Session] on Staff Activities Enquiry Process.

c. Form & Report ~> Assessment Summary Report, system is enhanced to remove print control for blank assessment summary report printing.  In other words, system shall allow printing of Assessment Summary Report for students who did not join any co-curriculum activities.

d. Form & Report ~ > Co-curriculum Cert ~ > Printing, New format of Co-Curriculum Certificate format 2.

e. Assessment ~ > Mark & Grade Adjustment, to allow previous year co-curriculum assessment GPA and CGPA input for new transfer in student.

3. Headcount & Post Moterm ~ > TOV & ETR Adjustment, we’d enhance the features to allow user to manipulate TOV & ETR value from selected academic year student list.

b. Student Mgmt ~ > Testimonial/Leaving Cert ~ > Preview Template & Printing, enhanced by request to print Year-to-date student discipline grade instead of cumulative point + grade on student leaving certificate – format 9.
c. Student Mgmt ~ > Testimonial/Leaving Cert ~ > Preview Template & Printing, provided additional free format input column of [Remarks] when printing student leaving certificate format 7.

2. On Co-curriculum Assessment Module, We’d enhance the features as following:-

a. Form & Report ~ > Yearly Assessment/Assessment Summary Reports, system is enhance to add extra filtering criteria by [Co-Curriculum Type] and [Co-Curriculum Description] on Yearly Assessment Report and Assessment Summary Report Printing filter by activity.
b. Form & Report ~ > Assessment Summary Report, System is amend label [Level Teacher] on Assessment Summary Report (Format 2) to [Form Teacher].

3. E – Report Card ~ > Grading System ~ > Grading System Table Setup, we’d customized the exam grading system to followed LPM (Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia) new requirement to allow input of SGP with value = 10.

4. On Sport Event Module ~ > Participant Detail ~ > Transfer SAR To Final Automatic -> For Inter-School -> Individual Event, Enhance to allow final event re-processing and all the entered final result shall be initialized after confirmation received from posting.

Release Note

1. On Basic Module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Curriculum Mgmt ~ > Class Details, System is enhanced to remove mandatory validation for [Class Teacher] input field on Class Detail Creation and Auto Copy function.
(b) Curriculum Mgmt ~ > Copy class from previous year, this is to display classes without form teacher assignment statistic link on School Admin’s task list desktop for monitoring purposes.

2. On Co – curriculum assessment module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a). Activity Record ~ > Regular/Su-Activity, System is enhanced to incorporate AJAX routine on Co-Curriculum Activity drop down option extraction for Activity Attendance page and Regular Sub Activity Setup page.
(b). Form & Report ~ > Co-Curriculum Certificate ~ > Printing, we’d enhanced the system to add [Maximum Print Count] option for each print categories on Co-Curriculum Certificate print page. System will print the maximum number of record count according to selected print count. The printed record shall be sorted by position among the co-curriculum activity sub lists. In order words, the highest position from the co-curriculum activity sub lists shall first be swapped until the end of the data set.
(c). Form & Report ~ > Co-Curriculum Certificate ~ > Printing, we’d modified the system to allow printing of co-curriculum certificate with achievement record only (i.e. without any co-curriculum categories selected).
(d). Activity Record ~ > Student ~ > Student Activity Rollover, New option to rollover student co-curriculum activities to new academic year by each activity.

3. On e – Report card module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a). Enquiry ~ > Result Analysis – By Line Graph, System is enhanced to discontinuous exam mark data display on Subject Performance Line Graph Analysis.  School requested to display discontinuous line chart if student didn’t sit on a particular exam instead of 0 value.
(b). Exam Mgmt ~ > Print ~ > Report Card/Result Slip, This is a new report card print criteria of [Maximum Co-Curriculum Record Print Count].  System shall limit the number of co-curriculum record count printed on record card according to selected print count.

4. On Teaching Plan module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a). Curriculum Framework ~> Master Framework/Teacher Framework, System is allowed teacher to customize personal curriculum framework after copying from school admin/panitia’s curriculum framework. Teachers can now either create their own curriculum framework OR beam the pre-created framework by admin/subject panitia then modify the framework to be their own copy. Then system will revamped teaching plan builder desktop with calendar icon and Current Week hyperlink link.
(b). Teaching Record Book -> Teaching Record Book, this is to reload teaching plan desktop by writing date upon teaching plan record submission and default teaching plan desktop on current action date instead of system date.

6. Library Mgmt ~ > Bibliographic ~ > Bibliographic Records ~ > Create, System is enhanced to incorporate MARC21 export format at Bibliographic detail export process.  MARC formats (Machine-Readable Cataloging) are standards for the representation and communication of bibliographic and related information in machine-readable form, and related documentation.

7. System Administration ~ > Database Mgmt Module ~ > Database Achieve Download, this is a new option to allow user download scheduled daily database backup file for offside storage.
