How to assign additional duties for staff?

Staff has been appointed as teacher in charge / advisor to manage the assigned co-curriculum activities. There are 2 options to create such assignment in the SMS:

1. Via SMS Co-Co Assessment Module, please click on the link How to create Staff Activity Record for details.

2. Via SMS Basic Module under Staff Management option.

Please take note that user is require to create staff additional duty at SMS Basic Module if school did not sign up Co – Co assessment module. Followings are the illustrated example on how to assign additional duties for staff via SMS Basic Module under Staff Management option.

Step 1 – Create Staff Additional Duty Description

This option allows user to register all the school’s available co-curriculum activities for staff which be categorized into 3 different activity types as follows:
– Academic
– Management
– Service Club

To create an activity description, please click on the link School Mgmt ~ > Staff Parameter ~> Additional Activity Description ~> Create.

Step 2 – Create Staff’s Activity Position
This option is used to create groups of staff’s organization structure applicable to an activity type. To create a staff activity position, please click on the link School Mgmt ~ > Staff Parameter ~> Staff Activity ~> Additional Duty Position ~> Create.

Step 3 – Link Staff Activity to Position
This option is used to assign the relevant group of defined staff’s organization structure to one or more activities offered. To link a position to an activity, please click on the link School Mgmt ~ > Staff Parameter ~ > LinkPosition To Activity.

Step 4 – Assign Additional Duties to staff

This option is to input the duties that have assigned to staffs for managing the co-curriculum activities or any additional duties in charge by staff. The system allows user to keep staff additional duty records. To initiate this process, please click on the link Staff Mgmt ~ > Additional Duty ~> Create.
