Will my manually adjusted GPA & CGPA be overwritten after re-process Assessment Grading?

GPA and CGPA marks are auto computed by system when processing Assessment grading. However, user still allows to adjust the computed GPA and CGPA marks  via Assessment –> Mark Adjustment option. The purpose is to allow CGPA marks to be accumulated from previous school  for newly transfer -in students.  Besides, user is also allowed to manually key in GPA and CGPA marks for past assessment years (ie before implementing Co-Co Assessment Module)  for tracking and reporting purposes.

Due to this, Assessment grading process is now enhanced to cater for the following conditions:

1) NOT to OVERWRITE Adjusted GPA and CGPA marks and grade during Assessment Grading

The adjusted GPA and CGPA marks and grade will not be overwritten as long as the students are totally without any active activity records found in Assessment grading year. The activity records refer to student activity or attendance or participation/involvment or achievement or  bonus marks

For example:
i) Student A (Without activity)
– Key in marks adjustment (e.g GPA 90/ CGPA 90)
– Run assessment grading
– The marks that key in on marks adjustment still remains (e.g GPA 90/ CGPA 90) on the record even run assessment grading

2) To OVERWRITE Adjusted GPA and CGPA marks and grade during Assessment Grading

The adjusted GPA and CGPA marks and grade will be overwritten as long as there is ONE active record found for the students  in Assessment grading year.  The activity records refer to student activity or attendance or participation/involvment or achievement or  bonus marks.

For example:
i) Student B (With activity)
– With assessment grading (e.g. GPA/CGPA is 60/60)
– Do mark adjustment (e.g. GPA/CGPA 80/80)
– Run grading, the marks pull back original marks (e.g. GPA/CGPA is 60/60)

ii) Student C (with participate, achievement only)
– Key in mark adjustment (e.g. GPA 80/ CGPA 80).
– Create (participate, achievement)
– Run grading and the result display (e.g. GPA 0/ CGPA 0).

iii) Student D (Bonus Marks)
– Key in mark adjustment (e.g. GPA 80/ CGPA 80).
– Create bonus marks record (3 Marks)
– Run grading and the result display (e.g. GPA 3/ CGPA 3).
