How to re-group subject based on level & syllabus

User reported that the subject which have been grouped are not according to the syllabus and level. To resolve this issue, user is required to maintain the subject details for those subject which had been grouped wrongly. The system was enhanced to allow the web administrator from school which are running both international and Malaysian syllabus to creates subject description for multiple syllabus.

To do it, please follow the steps as guided below on how to re-group subject based on level & syllabus.

Step 1: Link Level to Level Group

To link the level to the level group, please go to “Basic Module ~> Curriculum Mgmt ~> Syllabus Info ~> Link Level to Level Group”. This function enable user to link an academic level to a level group. Example, each academic level (e.g. Tingkatan 1) shall be linked to defined level group (e.g. Lower Secondary). The subject shall be properly linked to level group so that system will display ONLY the subjects which are applicable for the level instead of displaying all the available subjects during subject offered.

Step 2: Update the Subject Info

To edit the subject info, please go to Basic Module ~> Curicullum Management ~> Subject Info ~> Code & Description ~> Edit.  After selected the subject, user may re-group the subject to designated level group from the drop down menu list and click the “Update” button to save the changes made.

Step 3: Subject Offered

To view the subject has been designated to the correct level group, please go to Basic Module ~> Curicullum Management ~> Subject Offered ~> Create & Update.System is enhanced to display subjects which are applicable for the level only while selecting subjects offered for new academic year. The Subject Offer screen will only shows that all subjects have been grouped by level group.
