SMS Release Version 4.1 build 303 – 15th July 2013

Release Note:

1. Basic Module: We’d enhance the feature as following:
a) School Mgmt ->General Setting
i) Auto generate the student number with following prefix YY0000000001”
The “YY” represent the 2 digit of year code e.g. 13 as 2013,next 10 digits is running number.System will reset to the new year code and running number if new
academic year start.
ii) To auto capitalize letters for the student, staff, guardian & applicant name.

b) Student Mgmt ~> Personal Record ~> Create
i) Reset student Number (running number) if new academic year start.
ii) Increase Birth Cert No from max 10 characters to 20 Characters at applicant & student Profile.
iii) Add student information Site map (shortcut link) to update:
– Student Profile
– Student Medical Info
– Previous School Info
– Guardian Profile
– Student and Guardian Relationship

iv) International School Specific
** To add information for “persons picking student daily, if no parent” as refer to admission form page

** To change “Lain – Lain” to “Others” under Race, City & Town at student profile creation.
** Add “Assessment Date” to Student’s Profile.

C) Student Mgmt ~> Attendance Recording ~> Daily Attendance
** Change all Tardy label to “Late”

d) Student Mgmt ~> Previous School Info ~> Create/Edit
Remove compulsory fields for attended from/to at previous school info.

e) i)Student Mgmt -> Transfer School -> Verify
ii)Student Mgmt -> Leaving School -> Verify
Delete the attendance record if the student have attendance record after leaving school date.

f)  Student Management ~> Student Health Record ~> General Health ~> Create
Add in “Student Health Information” as refer to admission form.

g) Student Mgmt->Student Health Record->Medical Info -> Create
i)  To add “Student extra information” questionnaire as refer to admission form
ii) Remove height and weight as compulsory fields.

2. On Student E-report Card; We’d enhance the feature as following:
a) Enquiry ~ > Average grade Analysis ~ > GPS
Add in number of total student & % for grade status group for Distinction, Credits, Pass, Fail for GPS analysis reports.

b) Parameter Setup ~> Exam Schedule ~> School Exam ~> Create & Update
Result Status = Add in to show “Result Status” (for report card format 1 printing) as selected language ordering on exam schedule setting.

c) Exam Mgmt ~> Performance Remark ~> By Subject Teacher
Expand subject teacher comment field to 300 characters.

3. On Student Enrollment Module We’d enhance the feature as following:
a) Genera Setting
Auto generate the Applicant number with following prefix “A00001”

b) Application Record ~> Create
Default Name Sequence at Applicant Profile (FN+LN+MN)

C) Student Enrollment ~> Enroll
