How to Schedule Class Ranking Process After School Operation Hour?

In order to minimize manual class to class ranking process which takes up too much time and system resource especially for exam with combine examination with paper setup, which result in constant exhaustion from the server’s resources. We’ve come up this features in order to allow user to schedule aprocess class ranking at any time as a  cron job and ranking process will fork up the ranking process class by class.

Please be caution when schedule class ranking process especially during peak hour i.e exam input time when multiple school teacher is busy enter their subject class. If you have opt to schedule class ranking during peak hour, you will encountered sloweness response and exhausted resource of the server performance. Therefore user is only advise to schedule their class ranking process after school operation hour or during midnight time when less & nobody is sharing resource of running class ranking process.

Please follow step by step as guided below on how to schedule class ranking process after school operation hour

Step 1 – Enable Class Schedule Ranking Process.

 Pls Click “Yes” to enable an cron job on the scheduled class ranking process. To do it, pls go to the Special setting section under Parameter Setup ~ > General Setting.

Step 2 – Set up Date/Time for Class Ranking Process.

You are able to setup the class ranking scheduled date/time after the exam periods End Date  is over and  your selected Exam for class ranking scheduling should still valid by Result Release Date.  Once you exam result release date is over, System is strictly prohibited for user to setup class ranking scheduled by disallow user to tick relevant checkbox and only Today or future date/time is allow. Take note, the check box will also disable if exam already produce class ranking process and no subsequent subject’s mark is inputed or updated. To do it, pls go to the Special setting section under Parameter Setup ~ > General Setting.

Step 3 – Setup ranking process by each exam in different level as set in the exam Schedule.

 After that, you can confirm for system to perform the ranking by each exam on different level as set in the examination scheduled. To create a scheduling of class ranking process, go to parameter Setup ~> Class Ranking Scheduling.

Step 4 – Confirmation on Class Ranking Process

Once you’ve scheduled Class ranking process, user is able to monitor the class ranking process is successfully scheduled at any time with the status provided and ranking process is completed with last run date/time. To do it, pls go to Enquiry ~ > Class Ranking Scheduling
