SMS Release Version 4.1 Build 281 – 07th June 2010

Release Note

1. On SMS Basic Module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. Student Mgmt ~ > Attendance Recording ~ > Class Attendance Taking, System enhanced to provide a checkbox to select or delect attendance taken for each attendance status for easy maintenance on class attendance.

b. Student mgmt ~ > Testimonial/Leaving Cert ~ > Preview Template & Printing, we’d remove save button on printing page for student leaving certificate format 4, 7, 8.

2. On SMS e- Attendance Module, we’d enhanced the features as following:-

a. Attendance Parameter ~ > General Setting, System enhanced to provide cron job to auto update student class attendance. This process is used for update student’s e-attendance to student’s attendance on Basic Module. The school  may have two session, that is Morning and Afternoon Session, this attendance processing will process automatically via “cron job” that been setup on SMS server.

b. Enquiry ~ > Student Attendance ~ > Student Attendance Listing, The Student Attendance Listing report will print remark field according to selected date event description, e.g. special holiday, public holiday, weekend on Student Attendance Listing Enquiry. However, system should based on the weekend flag set on the General setting to decide timetable cycle day start day is Sunday or Monday for timetable slot extraction on Student Attendance Listing Enquiry.

c. Enquiry ~ > Student Attendance ~ > Student Late/Absent, Currently, system will show “No Records Found” on a Sunday when the weekend flag is set as “Friday”. With this function build, Additional scopes to check on weekend flag to decide on schooling days.  Changes applied to student absent enquiry and student late enquiry. Take note weekend should includes Saturday.

3. Co-curriculum Assessment ~ > Form & Report ~ > Co-Curriculum Certificate -> Printing, System enhance to remove class listing page and go directly to student print listing page on Co-Curriculum certificate printing page.
