SMS Release Version 4.1 Build 266 – 04th November 2008

Release Note

1. On Basic Module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Curriculum Mgmt ~ > School Calender, The system is enhanced to incorporate Beam me web service to academic year calendar setup.

(b) Student Mgmt Module ~ > Testimonial/Leaving Cert ~ > preview Template & printing (Format 6), we’d resolved the issues on print previous year student achievement records instead of current year records only on Student Testimonial.

2. On Teaching Plan Mgmt Module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Teaching Record Book ~ > Curriculum Framework, we’ve added curriculum framework beam web services for curriculum framework download from master framework.

(b) Teaching Record Book ~ > Teaching Record Book, The system is enhanced to add open scope curriculum topic on record book writing page where teachers can choose to teach out of standard framework’s topic by keying free format topic description.

3. On ASP Portal Module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Adhoc Update ~ > Student Academic Report, Portal module is enhanced to incorporate multiple classes selection on academic result adhoc data export process.
and include academic year description in exported academic result data file.

4. On e – Attendance module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Attendance Records ~ > Staff ~ > Create, the module is enhanced one page manual batch staff attendance record creation with checkbox option.

(b) Enquiry ~ > Unattended Tardiness Listing, this is an new enquiry option for school admin / principal to monitor staff not keying in late/absent reasons.

5. On Co – cu Assessment module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Enquiry Module ~ > Student Activity ~ > By Activity/Class, To add student leaving icon for left student on winner listing, student grade enquiry, top student enquiry, national service program data input.

(b) Form & Report ~ > Assessment Summary Report, the reports is print previous year CGPA marks with 2 decimal points instead of GPA marks on [Gred Purata Tahun Sebelum] for Assessment Summary Report – Format 2.

6. On E – Report Card Module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Enquiry ~ > General Result Enquiry, The system is enhance to export extra student information, e.g. class on exam result spreadsheet export process.

7. On Library Mgmt Module, we’ve enhanced the features as following:-

(a) Enquiry ~> Reservation Enquiry, we’d provided add new reservation status search criteria – [Available] for reservation record ready for book collection.  The option can be accessed via Reservation Enquiry.

(b) Library Mgmt ~ > Circulation Parameter ~ > Create/Edit, the system is enhanced to incorporate overdue library material notification to library member.
