SMS Gateway

SMS Gateway is an add-on module to EDMS, the module is design for sending Short Message Service (SMS) to parent’s hand phone on their child’s attendance, school news, academic result and others depending on school usage.

For the charges of sending of SMS, the rates will be by bulk SMS sent as of prepaid RM 0.10 per SMS for local which is subject to revise by SMS service provider from time to time with notice to school.

Requirement from user to impose bulk SMS to parent via hp to alert the student activities from the schools.

The SMS Gateway is categories as following:-

Send SMS

Student Attendance
- Present :
  For student who mark as present, send bulk SMS to inform parent that student already in school.
- Absent:
  For student who mark as absent in set by user, send bulk SMS to alert parent.
- Late:
  Student for tardy/late to parents
  (Not Applicable for school who subscribed e-Attendance Module, it is because E- Attendance module only send Present, Absent status through cron job. ).
Exam result
- Enable to send bulk SMS to inform parent summary of student academic result like Sum, Average Mark, Result Status & Ranking
Replacement Class
To inform parent via bulk SMS of the replacement class date & time.
Discipline
Only for demerit cases is require to send SMS to parent.

Contact Management

Manage Subscriber Contact List
Allow user to manage payment made by subscriber, that’s mean school is able to control to send SMS to those parent or guardians who subscribe the SMS gateway services.
