What should I do when I fail to upload a particular filetype?

Blog Admin is responsible to pre-defined the filetypes that can be uploaded in his / her blog site eg .xls, .doc, .jpeg, etc. User may encounter “File type does not meet security guidelines. Try another.” message during uploading if the uploaded filetype has yet defined in the blog site.

Blog admin will need to add in the filetype via Settings ~> Mime Type.

Key in the file extension and Associated mime-type, e.g xls for Microsoft Excel file and click “Add mime-type >>” button to submit changes.
